Indian actress Kangna Ranaut is going to start new year with fresh new avatar in forthcoming release 'Tanu Weds Manu'. Shedding her neurotic image, Ranaut will be seen in a bubbly and lively character in movie.
Kangna plays the role of Tanu, a small town girl having a zest for life. Always seen playing neurotic and depressed roles, the 'Gangster' actress will offer a new look for the audience in the movie opposite actor R. Madhavan.
Director Anand Rai said, "Yes Kangna plays a small town, wild girl. She is shown as a very bindaas character, and it is a role that Kangna has never portrayed before. Kangna was amazing at the way she pulled off the character of Tanu".
