Bollywood movie Patiala House has been sold in India. The only two which are left are CP Berar and Delhi/UP. The Mumbai circuit has gone for nearly 8 crore which is a fair price.
The business of Akshay Kumars movies in Mumbai circuit for 2010 was as follows
Housefull - 14 crore
Action Replay - 5.75 crore
Tees Maar Khan - 11.50 crore
Khatta Meetha - 8 crore
When all the circuits are sold the movie will fetch around 21-22 crore from the Indian market which is nearly as much as the 24-25 crore budget. The movie will make huge money for its producers as satellite, music, overseas and Home Video will add another 20-25 crore. The distributors have also been given the movie at fair prices so they should recover their investments.
